This stone would be a perfect stone for erasing the marks from Aoto (about #2500 to #4000) before you go onto the finest finishing stone. I was requested from my friend who uses Okudo Suita for the final finishing, something that can be used before that.

Although this stone is very fine itself it has such a strong cutting strength as you can see, it can be used right after Aoto, and pass it on to super fine finishing stone. Because of it's high cutting strenght it is particularly good for harder steels, such as WS#1, Tougou Reigou, Blue Super, etc.
