The line is a bit harder than the jigane, so it is better if you avoid or dig, but it runs through very shallow, so it should go away soon. Akapin strata is the shallowest strata, so it is pressured less thus softer, easier to use for beginners.

Situated on the west side of Mt. Atago along with Oohira and Shinden, this is a Nishi-mono (=west side stone).
